One of the original Bassic Records artists, a true staple of the label, Käse Kochen has been apart of the family since our very first compilation. After two impressive EPs since our inception, Käse Kochen has spent the better part of two years developing the body of work that he has aptly dubbed “Encounters In Melancholy”.

Entangled in the psychedelic and bass music scenes for many years, the ethos, aura and creativity helped form this current output of intricate, colourful, hefty progressive techno that knows no boundaries.

Whilst “Encounters In Melancholy” is endlessly emotional, it continuously steers down a darker path, reaching depths and heights of near cataclysmic intensity.

Shaped by sharp progressive grooves, driven by surreal lifelike basslines, Käse Kochen develops cinematic experiences with each conceptualised piece, resulting in this astounding collection of aural art.
